KristinsMommy 145 Posted September 13, 2012 Did I work out the whole first week ? ... I'm one week post op and I haven't lost anything I did alot of walking and I have a little one I chased around too. My doctor cleared me to go back to the gym so I'm excited about that. Don't get discouraged just keep trying. Have you exercised at all? even walking is good excersise it doesn't always have to be hardcore.

Shira 20 Posted September 16, 2012 I love this charm Bracelet idea!! I think I'm going to tell my husband... I also had surgery on 9/10/12 and have my first Pre-op this coming Wednesday. I am counting the days until mushy food. I have a very strict post-op liquid diet from NYU so I'm dreaming of Farina right now.
angel70 11 Posted September 16, 2012 Did I work out the whole first week ? ... I'm one week post op and I haven't lost anything <img src='http://www.bariatricpal.com/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> Hi Nicki - I was banded the 13th - but was told by my doctor not to focus in on weightloss on the first week but to focus on healing only . As long as you stick to the diet sheet you should definitely be losing by the second week. I know it's hard when it seems that everyone else is losing . I had this conversation with my doctor because I realised my post op diet was actually higher in calories than my pre op ! - but it's early days for me x
Kinley7390 80 Posted September 16, 2012 Did I work out the whole first week ? ... I'm one week post op and I haven't lost anything Don't worry, you are not alone! I lost 17 pre-op, and have not lost a pound post-op yet, and I am 10 days post op! Trying not to focus on weight, and instead to focus on healing, but I have to be honest, it's nice to know I'm not alone! Although I hope we both see some weight come off soon! It certainly is good motivation.
