Gas....answer / Must Read :)

Recommended Posts

i was having gas pains in my shoulder and did lots of walking but still that did not work, I read somewhere that someone sat in a rocking chair and rocked it that helped.....so I thought I would try to ride my exercise bike for a few minutes to see if i could get things moving......IT WORKED......just did like 5 min. then walked and heating pad and I was burping and passing gas....LOL :)

That's good to know. My surgery will be soon and I was afraid of the walking A LOT part. I'm waiting also for knee replacement. I know how important it is to walk. When I had my hysterectomy yrs ago, I was outside walking in the middle of the night b/c gas was so bad.

I have an exercise bike & rocking chair I 'll try it. I'll also try walking as much as possible.

It's hell getting old!

well, because i am not as mobile as some (my walking) ended up being up and down my hall at my home. i found the gas just worked its way out and the shoulder pain (i found helped by not only the pain med) but also doing windmill like movement with my shoulders. i would think every step helps. gas x did not seem to help me in the slightest but every one is so different. i lived for my hot shower on my shoulders and lower back.

you will do fine. you have a great attitude and a positive attitude. and you got me in your corner, only success allowed :)

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
