2muchfun 8,927 Posted September 13, 2012 Well, our bodies don't really need a lot but the recommended is less than 500 milligrams.

lawson 14 Posted September 13, 2012 I don't count the sodium, but I know I need to! I swell up with too much and gain weight!
Beachgirl11 18 Posted September 13, 2012 My legs swell bad, I'm going to watch my sodium over the next few days and see if there are any changes in the swelling.
Jachut 487 Posted September 13, 2012 My sodium intake really only jumps above 1000 if I'm eating packaged foods. I find keeping saturated fat down, Protein up way more of a problem
☠carolinagirl☠ 18,721 Posted September 16, 2012 i try to do without sodium as much as possible (i rinse my veggies if i open a can) and i dont cook with it i figue hub can add whatever he wants...each dr and nutritionist will offer different amounts to each person so i guess it just depends. all i know is, the most i consume, my ankles swell into logs (and i aint even log rolling)
