Hey, Thanks you guys. Umm as for size I was a C before and a C after. Before I actually had to lift and squash and tuck my boob into the cup. It was so grose. Now they just go in there comfortably...My areolas were huge, like saucers. he said he would give me a more "youthful" areola. Now they are the size of 20 cents. It doesnt hurt and hasnt from the beginning. Like I said my boobies feel like I am getting my milk in...a discomfort or pressure type thing..no pain. The areolas still have the stitches will come out Saturday, they will then relax and work back into a nice rounded shape.

Areola cookie cutter...I like it!!!

Heather - I am being straight up with you guys so you know what to expect. Honestly the insicions have never hurt. They are numb. Inside hurt from the muscle repair and where I was lipoed hurt. Lipo is the killer, I felt beaten and bruised which I was. I know it all looks yucky, I was the same when I researched, it scared the pants of me, but its nowhere near as bad as it looks. Just imagine and picture the after and it will get you through it. Thats what I did. Ill take some more pics this weekend after the stitches come out and let you see. I am not looking foward to the rest of the BB stitches coming out as they have skin over them ughh. Oh yea that reminds me, Jess...yes the BB stays an outtie yayyyyy!!!! Remember if you want an outtie let your PS know. They can usually do it both ways, makes no difference to them.

Hugs everyone

Kellie - you are so brave!

Thanks for Sharing this important info with us. You have done a great job warning anybody who doesn't want to look.

I guess I will have to start saving now - for the belly & pinny thing. The concept of not having to wear a girdle every day - well, I can't even imagine.

Hugs! Happy Healing!

The concept of not having to wear a girdle every day - well, I can't even imagine.

This is funny - whether I was fatter or flabbier - I never ever wore a girdle. I never even owned one.

After my TT more than 13 weeks ago, now as I graduate from the surgical binder my plastic surgeon's office recommends panty girdles to keep the post-op swelling down.

So when I'm out and about, I wear a control smoother (kind of panty girdle like) or body shaper. Now I wear my now-falling-apart (after so many washings) abdominal surgical binder in the evenings when I'm at home, or especially when I sleep.

Happy Band Journeys to all...

I am 6 weeks post op from my TT and breast lift and just wanted to share the updated pics so you guys know what to expect if you go through it. It really is true that it takes months fro the final results. I had an appointment with my PS on Friday and he said I still had a lot of swelling and to expect more results over the next couple of months. He said I can stop wearing my garment as of this week too, but I am still wearing it because with the swelling it feels better.

Anyway these photos contain NUDITY and all that stuff I have mentioned before, and like Jess said, dont look if you dont want to see thunder thighs, stretch marks and yucky bits.

6 weeks PO

Without having to read the entire thread, (just call me lazy nana), do you/did you have to wear that special girdle for 6 weeks? When I had a mini TT years ago with some Lipo, I had to wear this awful girdle with the crotch cut out, talk about sexy, for 6 loooooong weeks. I'm allergic to lycra, so I was miserable.

Oh yes lazynana :(. I can ditch the garment this week. I am going to wean myself off it though, still wear it at night for a few weeks. I totally love the crotchless look though, Paul tells me I have pigs balls from the back and you can see it through my pants etc.

omg, Kel! I thought you looked great immediately post-op (well, except for the expression, lol). But now, wow!! And he says there's STILL swelling! I hope you don't de-swell away! :(

Seriously, that's awesome! Your scars look amazing! Can't believe how much they've faded! For that matter, can't believe it's been 6 weeks!

Congrats & (( hugs!! ))

Wow Kellie! I had to go back and look at your before picture again. I am so excited for you and your new body!

Thanks for the botox info on brow lift. I have been thinking about a brow lift for several years, but never got up the guts to do it. I would have never even considered botox if you hadn't posted your experience. Thank you Thank you Thank you. You are a true pioneer for us future PS candidates!

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!

Hi everyone! I’m brand new here. I just went through all my pre-op requirements per my insurance company and now everything has been submitted and I’m just waiting for final approval and my surgery date. I’ve been doing research, watching YouTube videos, TikTok’s, ect.. trying to prepare my mind and what to expect so I’ll be ready for the surgery. I was so sure and so set and so ready and excited. However, now that I’ve done everything & it’s almost here, I am sooooooo scared! I know why I want it bc I’ve tried everything and I just don’t feel like I can lose weight by myself. I’m tired of being overweight my entire life. I’m miserable, but I keep psyching myself out afraid of GERD bc I know how that can be and I don’t want to have to get a bypass after already gaining the courage to even get VSG. I’m scared of complications like I’mgoing to regret doing it and be depressed that I didn’t just be more disciplined and try again to lose the weight on my own even sitting here typing this knowing in my mind i just can’t and don’t possess the discipline. I’m also afraid I won’t be able to handle the restrictions of the sleeve. What do I eat? I don’t know how to eat healthy really and don’t enjoy healthy food. I don’t know how to do this! I feel so defeated!Someone tell me they felt anything similar to this or am I not ready? I thought I was. I am so tired of being sick and tired and so tired of myself and so tired of being stuck and stuck in this body and somebody different on the outside from what I feel inside. I just want to ball up and cry.

Am feeling this right now. My surgery date is 4/1. Sign the consent tomorrow. I feel like I overloaded myself with too much info, too many opinions. Got to the point where I was wondering if I should do this. Then I thought of my reasons for taking this step and that settled my nerves. Still get moments of doubt but am striving forward. Am just going to follow my book from the surgeon. Joined this because I was told by my dietician that I should do this for support
