Maddysgram 6,159 Posted September 14, 2012 Oct 15 here. I really don't have to diet, but I am. I've been dieting all along. My nutritionist said they really didn't want us to lose a lot of weight, but PCP wanted me to loose weight. So I didn't try hard just enough to keep PCP happy. Now insurance has approved I plan on kicking it up a notch. Best to everyone!
Mara005 70 Posted September 14, 2012 Hi Mara005, just checking in to see how you are doing with the two week pre-op diet. Hang in there love. You'll be able to do it. Not well, as soon as I hear the word diet, I imediately crave everything and have no will power. I'm really going to try and stick to it, but it's going to be a LONG three weeks. I was just checking the paperwork my surgeon gave me and I am allowed a maximum of 225 calories a day from low glycemic veggies such as brocolli, cauliflower and lettuce. I was just checking the paperwork my surgeon gave me and I am allowed a maximum of 225 calories a day from low glycemic veggies such as brocolli, cauliflower and lettuce. It's 3 shakes (Breakfast, dinner and late snack), 2 fruits (midmorning and afternoon snack) and a salad with Protein (for lunch). It's not bad, but I get really bored witht the same thing every day. I know it's a cake walk compared to some people's diets but I'm still bad with it.

journeygirl28 18 Posted September 29, 2012 Day 3 of pre-op diet for me. Days 1-2 were great, but today for some reason I am hungry. Not starving but hungry. Hopeful it gets a little better. I will admit my every 3 hour eating interval is a little off today and I forgot to take my Vitamins
MelsBeautifullyBanded 0 Posted September 30, 2012 I get banded 10/29 and Im a nervous wreck! I've watched way to many Videos about the band, I say that because I came across some not so good ones and now I'm starting to freak out, hahaha! I know every story is a different story though. Some POSITIVE words of encouragement would be greatly appreciated
