Mama Mama 23 Posted September 4, 2012 Is there a nerve that causes this. Have had it happen 2 times & last time the pain was so bad it took hours to get relief
kah1213 311 Posted September 4, 2012 I'm not sure. Ive never had severe neck pain after a stuck episode. Hope you're feeling better soon! How long does the pain last? Maybe it's something to discuss with your doc?

Mimi2three 5 Posted September 4, 2012 I get pain in my shoulder after eating some times the past few weeks have been bad. Not much helps it, there is a nerve that goes from the stomach to some part of the shoulder not sure of the name right now. It hurts that's for sure!!! tahbu2 0 Posted September 4, 2012 I am seven months out now and occasionally get intense left shoulder/neck & back pain associated with food intake that is either too much or too fast. No amount of Tylenol or Motrin helps, you just have to wait it out. As mentioned in earlier posts, it is the result of nerve stimulation at the part of the stomach where the band is placed. Just think of it as an occasional not-so-friendly reminder to slow down and watch your total intake.
