Concept57 2 Posted September 3, 2012 I've noticed a few times since my band surgery in June of this year that I will wake up to thick sticky spit in the back of my throat that requires conscience deep swilling. It lasts an hour and by the time it's over, my throat is sore. It's also accompanied relux. I wait a good time from eating to going to bed. Any suggestions?
