Hello everyone! I am getting banded on the 6th. I am very excited. Even though I will still be on a liquid diet for two weeks after, I am hoping it will be a bit easier than the pre-op liquid diet. I am on day 5 of 11, and I am still hungry much of the time, although, I am happy to be past the initial headaches. (They lasted the first three days). On a positive note, I am completely off of my insulin based on my blood sugars being back to normal just from the liquid diet! I will still have to monitor closely for a while, but one of my biggest goals was to get off some of these diabetic meds, so things are looking up. Good luck to all of you on your personal journeys!

Kinley, I'm right behind you! And I am soooo glad you posted that you had headaches! Today was my second day of pre-op....and my oh my - my head hurts terribly! Sending you good vibes to get you through the next few days! The 6th is right around the corner!! YAY YOU!
