I know you've already heard this' date=' but you will need to take smaller bites and chew into a paste. Except donuts. Flour will concentrate into a plug so don't eat them for that reason and for all the other reasons.

I know what you mean about eating dry foods. I struggle too, but if I take a very small bite(baby spoon size) and chew, they go down. Or, I add wing sauce to the chicken or salsa or some other low fat, low carb soupy sauce.

I like dipping white meat chicken in hummus. Hummus even has a little Protein.< /p>

I can't eat steak, medium rare or well done, doesn't matter. I learned a long time ago that I don't do well with Bagels either. Dry meats are a no-no. As for a donut, well I tried one a few months back and it went down great, unfortunately! Some times asparagus won't go down right and it comes back up, I think it's about the stringiness in the fibers.

I;m a complete unfill at the moment, so all may change should I get filled in the future.

I 'caved' and ate a donut at work a couple of weeks ago. I was so SICK for hours afterwards. So, now I know...I won't ever do that again!

I am almost 3 months out and I have had 2 fills. I haven't foud anything I can't eat yet. I have eaten - in small amounts - Pasta, rice, tortillas with no problems. I eat chicken, pork, and beef. I tried pizza once and had no problems. I have also eaten a few tortilla chips. I haven't tried bread, or cakes or donuts but think it best to stay away from that. Not sure if I am lucky or if this will change as I get my band filled more.

I have yet to run into any issues, I'm only about to be 6 weeks out, and have been working meats back into my menu over the last two. But yeah, I've pretty much tried everything I used to eat that I can do at this time (everything was healthy, so I had nothing to worry about with re-introducing them!). I have tried a few different breads (well, not white) but normal wheat bread & flat breads and they have gone down just fine. Although I have yet to see if I can still handle them after my first fill, but when that time comes around I shall see.

I'm 7 months post op and I can eat anything as long as I take small bits and chew good I don't have any problems. What gets me is eating too fast, not chewing enough and too big a bit. You would think I'd know better by now. Lol

I am no longer able to eat bagels!!!! This is kind of sad.

I thought I would try it toasted with a bit of butter and mall bites, chewed well...... Alas, I learned the hard way with a major stuck feet, lesson learned.....
