3Rd Fill And Bleching

Recommended Posts

Hi all. I received my 3rd fill this past Thursday. Since then I've had constant belching like bubbly feeling even without eating. I'm able to keep liquid down but I do get a little pressure. I've tried to eat mash potatoes and refried Beans, soft food and it comes up. At first I thought I just needed to give it a few days but could I be too tight???

Yes your probably too tight. I just had these same problems the other day after my 2nd fill. After my fill I sat in the waiting room drinking Water to make sure it could pass and I kept burping. Another patient looked at me and said your probably too tight have them take some out. I didn't listen and 2 days later I was right back in the office getting and unfill because I was miserable. I guess that other patient knew something I didn't know. They only took out .5 cc's but it made a world of difference.

Even .1 makes all the difference!! lol I've went up and down with my fills so many times. 4.4 was WAY too tight, now I 'm at 3.9 and pretty good restriction, but could probably go to 4.0 or 4.1. The teeniest tiniest unfill can really make a world of a difference!

I would give it a few days...I was in your shoes for a good week after full liquids now I feel great...a little belching but I tend to eat too fast and too big of bites.

I went from 4.5 cc to 5. I go back today to have an adjustment. The belching wont stop even in my sleep, and no soft foods so maybe I'll just have a little taken out. I was banded on April 30th and I've lost 57lbs. I'm still avergaging 10 lbs a month so I think taking a little out will be ok.
