jen1975 0 Posted August 27, 2012 Did your doctor discuss with you the things that can make your band slip ? All mine mostly said was heavy lifting and I use to do home health and afraid I will never do that again

smc4 3 Posted August 27, 2012 I was just told nothing over 20 pounds for lifting. Mainly watch what you eat and how fast so you dont throw it up to cause a slippage. 1 cgmaestra reacted to this

I know this will sound stupid but right now we are banded but with no restraints well I'm not I get the first fill in 4 to 6 weeks so how do you no if you have over eaten except for the full filling I for sure don't wanna over eat and have to have another surgery to fix it
smc4 3 Posted August 27, 2012 Thats kind of what I was thinking. I think being on the liquid diet for so long will get our stomach use to what we have been eating, so maybe anymore then that you will feel full. I know my doc office said alot of people come back for their first fill not feeling any different, or even gaining wait. This part is to get us use to eating better things for us. I think you have a little Fluid in the band right now, so maybe you wont eat as much when you switch to normal food.< /p>
