I had my first fill last Monday 2cc, and was on liquids for 3 days, by Thursday I’ve lost 15 lbs, but now a week later I’ve gained 10 lbs of the 15 :( , I was so happy for those 15 lbs, now I feel frustrated again.

A weight-loss of 15 pounds while on liquids is probably all water-weight (or from having no solid food in your system). I would expect that the majority of that weight to come back, when you start eating solids again, which is exactly what happened for you.

Remember that a healthy rate of loss is 1-2 pounds a week as well. Sounds like you are doing awesome!

I gained back after surgery. I dropped down to 239 a week after surgery, but when I went back to my month check up I had gone back to 250 (which really sucked for me), but they expected it. I'm now at 234, which was slow going. I average about a pound a week, but it's no guarantee. I had 1 month where I lost 8lbs in 6 weeks. I only expect 4-6 every time I go. Water weight is a big contributor though. I had to go on a diuretic pill to get rid of excess water.

Medication has a great deal to do with weight gain. I go for my first fill next week. At my last Drs apptm., he told me not to expect any weight loss and not to be surprised or disappointed if I gained some. I immediately thought "not me!". However, I was wrong and gained two pounds. Sigh, I'm hanging in there. Good luck to you. I won't say get on with your journey (I'm sick of that word!) but just say we didn't get fat by hurrying this process of Life....we aren't going to lose it quickly either.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
