AnnetteT 77 Posted August 26, 2012 I really didn't feel any difference until about 2 weeks after my 2nd fill. Up until then I was basically dieting. I've seen people refer to this period as bandster hell. Just continue to follow the rules your surgeon gave you and I promise it will get better. My friend has had 3 fills and still isn't losing. We have a doctor that is very conservative with his fills. He won't give more then .5 cc at each fill and we can only get them every 6 weeks. My fitness pal has helped me tremendously...i track my calories, Protein, etc and then print it out and take it in for my appointments so the doctor can discuss it with me and give me suggestions. Good luck...it will get better soon!
RoniB 13 Posted August 26, 2012 Keep you chin up. with exercising you could actually be losing inches. but since muscle weighs more than fat you may not see the change on the scale. so get out the tape measure and measure your waist, neck, etc and watch those numbers change. I don't always get 8 glasses of Water, but when I started using sugar free kool aid type mixes it did make it easier to get at least 6 a day, some days even more. The Martguerita flavor in Walmart brand (great value) is my favorite, it's not as sweet as strawberry, grape, etc.
YngGram 73 Posted August 26, 2012 INCHES!!! Ladies keep an eye on how things are fitting. This was the first sign that I was doing anything right. It has taken me over 3 years to get restriction I was not dieting, just eating less and getting some small results. When the weight started to come off it was very steady for about 6 months and then I was just cruising. I got a fill on the 30th that gave me restriction and I am now working on getting things moving again. Just keep doing the right things. 1 JustFluffy reacted to this

Sarah72 21 Posted August 26, 2012 I had surgery on July 25 and had my first fill on August 20th. It's been rough. Those first few weeks I was sore and tired, but hungry. I was 3/4 of a pound over what I was when I had surgery. My doctor gave me a hard time about it. This morning I weighed myself and I'm down 2 pounds below my lowest weight so I was happy. Not feeling restriction yet, but I'm more active. I'm riding bike again (haven't done that in probably 10 years!) and walking more. My clothes are getting looser so I know things are happening. Hang in there and good luck!
