gina418393 1 Posted August 20, 2012 Heyy ladies. Thanks for replying. Andd id love to stay in touch Im so nervous. kvr1977 28 Posted August 20, 2012 Yay, I've been looking for a buddy to talk to cuz I'm super nervous as well. I got denied the first time by my insurance so I started the 4 month process all over again. Sept 10 will hopefully be my last appt before re-submitting to my insurance. As far as the Doctor goes, they assigned Dr. Wright to me, I didn't specifically ask for him. They should be able to switch docs if you really want to. Did they tell you that they accept Medicaid? If they did then it should just be a matter of meeting all the requirements that medicaid wants. If they told you they accept it then you shouldn't worry, they do all the insurance paperwork for you. They are great and they know what they're doing.

Im just hoping im not on the pre op diet for the whole 6 mths. V- how do u like carcamo? How many times hve u seen him? Are you on the pre op diet yet? Harrier's Woman 58 Posted August 21, 2012 Hi Ladies, I'm also in San Antonio. I am scheduled to have my surgery in October @TrueResults. I am going to have my psych evaluation on Thursday. Dr. Carcamo will be performing my surgery & I've heard he can be a little blunt. This doesn't bother me because the main thing is that he performs the surgery well. Surprisingly, I'm not nervous(yet) about this procedure. I'm more excited than anything. I have been struggling for 30yrs with this weight; so now its beyond time to get serious about it. I hope everyone has a lot if success with the Lapband. Keep in Touch!
kvr1977 28 Posted August 21, 2012 Harrier, I'm happy for you. I know the feeling. I always tell my hubby " I'm tired of being tired" it's our time to take care of ourselves and start enjoying life. We deserve it. I have my last appt on sept. 10th so I'm prob looking at surgery in October also. I was having doubts and nervous but I'm just ready to be rid of this weight. Take care and keep us posted. 1 Harrier's Woman reacted to this
