brocksmom 0 Posted August 20, 2012 I had surgery 16 months ago. I have had a lot of success. My concern is that for the past 2-3 weeks I have days where i can't eat anything solid. For the past week I can't even keeps liquids down. I seem to throw everything up. I have heart burn like I have never had before. At my last visit, I did not get filled and my prior visit I had Fluid removed. I am only at 2cc. I go to the dr on Tuesday. Any ideas on what my problem may be? I have had such success that I hate thought of losing fluid or getting it removed.
Toddy 758 Posted August 20, 2012 If you're having trouble keeping liquids down, you need to either go to the ER or see your doctor as soon as possible. Dehydration occurs quite quickly and IS NOT PLEASANT!!!!! 1 elcee reacted to this
steph1967 13 Posted August 20, 2012 I also have that problem from time to time.you do need to see your dr. Mine seems to happen when I have a lot of stress..my dr told me to drink in sips and make sure I drink protien shakes. But your dr may have another suggestion or may want to send you to make sure you didn't slip.
DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! 12,703 Posted August 20, 2012 I would be going into your doctor immediately and demanding a barium swallow to have your band checked. Those are all the classic signs of being too tight, but being as you have already have some removed and so little in the band, I fear a slip. 2 elcee and 2muchfun reacted to this
Cazzy 725 Posted August 20, 2012 The golden rule is if u cannot keep liquids down that needs a doctor visit to sort it out, worst case scenario is a slip maybe or more normally you are internally swollen from being stuck, either way its a doctors visit that is needed .. good luck ..
