I 100% believe in the death penalty, it's the 20 years on death row & 15 appeals that I have a problem with. If a death row term was limited to a maximum of 3-5years before execution & executions were televised instead of kept private, it would be a real deterrent. But then again I'm a Texas boy, we already have an express lane.

I think life in prison should mean life in prison. I don't support the death penalty because I think it would be more if a punishment if that person had to spend the rest of their life thinking about what they did and should be reminded if it repeatedly. Prison systems used to gave to support themselves by labor, ie chain gangs and such, but that was ruled as inhumane.
