breepylatuk 0 Posted August 19, 2012 I am just about 16 months post op and down 136 lbs! I was banded April 27, 2011. I wish I would have found these forums sooner so many great tips and suggestions. Is there anyone out there who can recommend a good eating plan? I am high Protein low carb right now but I feel like I am lacking variety and spinning my wheels since there are quite a few things that are harder for me to get down. I am doing Protein first, then fruits and vegetables , then carbohydrates( bread, Pasta, rice, depending on whether my band will allow those items) if I am still hungry. This was recommended by surgeon and nutritionist. Bread and butter were my downfall foods prior to being banded. On some days now, I can handle toast, eaten slowly, well-chewed.
