Erin O'Donnell 61 Posted August 17, 2012 Don't those Greek yogurts taste sour? I haven't tried one' date=' but I know I don't like plain yogurt. Could I add SF syrups to Greek yogurt? Obviously I can add fruit. You tell me...[/quote'] I love Greek yogurt! Especially the Chobani brand. If I had to describe it I don't think I'd say it was sour...to me it's just not as sweet and a tad bitter, but I love it. They make some with fruit already in it and you mix it up before you eat it and that makes it sweeter I'd give it a try if I were you, you might be surprised I know I was. My mom uses it to make smoothies and I always thought its be gross, but I was pleasantly surprised 2 meyouus and Lori Voss Green reacted to this

stokesmommy 45 Posted August 17, 2012 Don't do just chicken by it self add you veggies or put it in your Soup. Imagine poor a can of prejudice soup in all of it noodles broth chicken. Blend till mushie not liquified and eat. All your doing is pre chewying. We are human so we could make a mistake and not chew enough at the beginning so let you're blender do the work
DerbySunflower 28 Posted August 17, 2012 I always like sour cream in my chili and on baked potatoes... plain Greek yogurt makes a guilt free substitute

mybella 35 Posted August 18, 2012 I start purees on Monday, Aug 20th. I just bought Hormels turkey Chili with Beans 97% fat free and it has 19 Proteins 1 fat, 1 sugar and I also got the Chili with veggies 97% fat free and Chili without beans which is lower in Protein. I was told to try it with a little of little cold greek yogurt for that sour cream effect and it will add more protein. Or even wit ricotta heated on top. The fat free refried beans is another protein dish that you can add greek yogurt or ricotta. I looked for canned fat free Soups and could not find any without Pasta or potato or barley.for my stage 4 puree. So my husband and I decided to buy kidney, lentel, black beans and black eye peas and we are going to make a bean Soup with carrotts, cabbage with chicken thighs no skin because chicken breast would be too dry in a soup. I will use low sodium bouiline cubes (spelling?) and chicken broth in the box and of course many non salt seasonings. I will cook it and freeze it. I bought fish in lemon sause that can be microwave in 3 minutes and it very good, which I had on my prediet. Can anyone tell me on your stage 4 with puree, can you have Snacks between the 3 meals and is your protein 2oz.
dramatect 48 Posted August 18, 2012 Hi everyone, here I am, 3 days post op. I'm super confused about how I should feel. I think I'm hungry, but then I get 2 sips of Soup down and I just don't WANT it anymore. But if I eat nothing, it hurts?? Does that make sense?
