My insurance approval (from Empire BCBS) came yesterday! After paperwork was submitted, it took about three weeks.

I think the worst part of this whole process so far has been waiting for that approval!

Yes...September 24th.

It's beginning to feel real now! I' m excited, motivated, and scared all at the same time.

(I'm not scared of the operation, but of this big decision I've made.)
