ontherighttrack 13 Posted August 9, 2012 I had a fill about 3 weeks ago and for the first two weeks I felt great, like I might need another slight full but was definetly doing good. But in the last week I feel like back before that fill. Still Eating my small portions but not getting the fullness from it and feeling like I want more. Is this normal? Maybe it was swollen and now went down? Or should I be concerned?
jennifer1 180 Posted August 9, 2012 The tricky thing about restriction is it can change from day to day..I would give it a little more time though.

DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! 12,703 Posted August 9, 2012 It's very normal. As you lose weight, the fat padding around you stomach shrinks too, making the band fit loser. It's not uncommon at all.

Ladybandito 516 Posted September 20, 2012 Is it normal for the morning tightness to go away too? I haven't had a fill in 2 months, have lost 17 pounds since the last one, feel satisfied with my one cup of food, but really can't "feel" my band at all, although I did after the first couple of fills. I think I have about 3 cc (or just under) in a 10 cc band -- been very conservative about fills since I'm a worrywart... I'm happy with how I'm eating and doing, but with this new no-restriction feeling, I'm wondering if this is normal too, even in the morning?
Ladybandito 516 Posted September 27, 2012 Answering my own question here, saw the doc this morning, he said it's just fine and preferable, even, not to to "feel" the band as long as I'm satisfied -- and not everyone has AM tightness, and even though my band is probably looser, he did not give me another fill. Summerrain 520 Posted September 27, 2012 Answering my own question here' date=' saw the doc this morning, he said it's just fine and preferable, even, not to to "feel" the band as long as I'm satisfied -- and not everyone has AM tightness, and even though my band is probably looser, he did not give me another fill.[/quote'] Yes it's normal, I cancelled a fill last week because I was still fine feeling like you we're but a few days later I was feeling hunger upon waking, I did tell my doctor this yesterday and she gave me a .3ml fill, what a difference, I have no interest in food all day apart from lunch or dinner and no obssession with food at all like I did before yesterday. I remember my surgeon telling me I want you to remember how you felt the first week after surgery, that is the feeling we are going to aim for once we get you into the green zone. Even my night time wanting to eat headhunger feeling has disappeared. I do believe my band is properly fine tuned now and fingers crossed it stays this way for a while. Half a cup was definitely enough for tonight's dinner.< /p> 1 Ladybandito reacted to this
