MsDuran 62 Posted August 6, 2012 I'm a little over 3 months post op and about 40 pounds down. It's working, I'm losing weight but just when I think I've got it, I'll have days like the last 3. Unable to eat and miserable. It isn't always like this, my band just tightens some times for no good reason and will remain that way for a day or two.. I was getting Fluid removed, only to have it put back in a week later and I come to the conclusion that there are just days when this band will be very tight and there's really nothing I can do about it. I'm happy, just a little agrevated . Jamy
TracyW2 137 Posted August 6, 2012 I will have days where I am tight and can hardly get anything in. Then I will have days where I can eat anything I want. There doesnt seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. I have just learned to live with it
2muchfun 8,927 Posted August 6, 2012 Yeah, these bands have a mind of their own eh? One day she loves chicken and the next, no way, get that white chicken breast crap outta here. One week it's oh sure, you can eat egg beaters and then the very next day, nope, not today pal. I do have to confess that about 50% of the time it's me. I eat too big too fast or didn't chew adequately. On the positive side, it's a reminder that she's still working and that we better not forget about her(it). tmf 1 elcee reacted to this

There doesnt seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. I have just learned to live with it I'm trying to learn. I have 33 years of bad habits and eating what and when I want. This is not a quick fix and is certainly not an easy way out.! ???
