Can You Give Any Advice?

I bought a row machine at a garage sale and I was wondering if I used that for at least 30 minutes a day would that be a good workout? Do you think it's as good as walking? I'm trying to change up my exercise routine

Rowing is a total body workout so yes, better than walking. But 30 minutes on a rower would be excrutiatingly boring if not too much work, imo. I'd mix it up. 10-15 rower, 10-15 walking, 10-15 lunges, squats light calesthenics or step aerobics?

I would think that a rowing machine would be MUCH harder than just walking. Also, you will be using mostly upperbody so that area should get toned. Good Luck!

Variety is important with exercise so don't just replace one with another. And be careful not to overdo it too early or you could end up hurting yourself.
