nathansmommy1020 2 Posted August 1, 2012 i was banded on the 30th, so i am 3 days out. i feel as though the pain in my back is somewhat abnormal?! i believe it is gas but i am not positive. the gas in my abdomen has been causing a lot of pain and seems impossible to pass! i am quite cramped and get sharp pains here and there frequently. is this all normal? i know it is early on but i would like to stay ahead if complications as much as possible!! thanks! DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! 12,703 Posted August 1, 2012 Sounds like gas pains. Walk as much as you can to help it work out faster and a heating pad might help with any discomfort. 1 ☠carolinagirl☠ reacted to this
☠carolinagirl☠ 18,721 Posted August 1, 2012 sounds normal to me. take mis73 advice and walk and use the heating pad if it helps. remember you just had major surgery. gonna hurt a smidge
Kime-lou 648 Posted August 1, 2012 Since heating pads are small, I would put a towel in the microwave for a min and take it out and lay it across my belly and it would help a lot after my surgery.
guitar4life3000 24 Posted August 1, 2012 I had the Gas pains for about a week. It was horrible. I felt it in my shoulders and lower back really bad. It will pass you just have to give it some more time possibly. Congrats on the surgery!
