I was also given Jello in the hospital.....it is considered a clear liquid as long as it doesn't have anything in it!

My surgeon says Jello is okay since it turns to liquid when warmed

Exactly what happen to me! almost 6 cc out of surgery and didn't even know it. until I had the stuck feeling constantly well it felt more like something stuck in my throat. So they completely unfilled me. Now MD is slowly filling my band, I'm at 5 cc. still feel the stuck in my throat feeling but no pain with it. Good luck
