2savemylife 2 Posted July 31, 2012 I wasnt given a breather and I am not sure if its the same thing yo are having but I was banded on the 25th and am still having sharp pains too from my diaphram spasms... maybe this is it. kinda makes it hard to get a deep breath, and especially when i have been laying down... its like my ribs ache and then the spasms start... thought at first something may be wrong with my bend... but when I rub it, it helps. It will happen on and off throughout the day too, almost like I have to burp... but get nothing? I am told this is normal, so I hope this helps, and for both our sake I pray this passes quickly! Best of luck to you. I am soo excited for you... keep in touch and keep us updated k
kll724 3,055 Posted July 31, 2012 You are both in the healing process! Take care, you will feel hurts and gas and all sorts of bad things the 1st week. If you have no sudden temp rise or bad smell coming from your incision, you should be okay. Call your surgeon with any questions! Best wishes for a smooth healing process, get up and walk!!!! 1 2savemylife reacted to this
