MarySnov 0 Posted July 28, 2012 Hi, I had my lapband placed on May 29 and my first fill on July 19. I'm having trouble with the food I'm supposed to eat and I'm wondering if anyone has any post-fill menus they'd be willing to share. I'm terrible at making up menus, but I'm good at following them. Thanks, Mary
NWgirl 574 Posted July 28, 2012 Can you explain the food troubles you're having so we have a better idea of what you need?
donna12 742 Posted July 28, 2012 glad I found this: I too have trouble. I was banded June 13th, I can't eat chicken. Getting bored with or tired of Tilapia, can't eat eggs of course I got stuck on eggs yesterday and posted so many of you responded that was common, thanks for letting me know and also dehydration is common factor of stuck. But would like recipes too. thx
blpchick 50 Posted July 28, 2012 I like to buy turkey meatballs. I get them at Walmart or target but I'm sure other places have them. I eat them plane and just cut them up into small pieces. I also found turkey sausage patties that I eat for Breakfast. Taste just like regular sausage to me but it's healthier and turkey.
cmk99 39 Posted July 28, 2012 I am not yet banded however I have seen on here and my nutrition class a good choice is fat free refried Beans with fat free cheese.....probably not something you would want everyday but could be good now and then!
