jen_1381 446 Posted July 25, 2012 Were you eating appropriately? Where at in the process are you? (Pre-op, post, etc). Need a little more info from you Any time you make a change in your "plan" it can affect your weight. For the first four weeks or so, I was losing 6 oz - 1 lb a day. If you're concerned, I would pass it by your surgeon. I always welcome weight loss, but I'm working very hard for it. If I wasn't trying at all and was dropping lbs, I would look for another reason (thyroid, diabetes, etc). 1 2muchfun reacted to this
2muchfun 8,927 Posted July 25, 2012 I agree with Jen. Need more info? You should fill out your profile so we won't have to ask in the future? If you lost 7 lbs, you lost about 5-6 lbs of Water. Or, you ran a 10K race every day and consumed only 1000 calories. It's not unusual for a new patient to lose 15-20 lbs the first month of being banded or in pre-op dieting. tmf
