marciebeth07 1 Posted July 24, 2012 I just had my surgery on Thursday (June 19th). I had a hiatal hernia that was corrected at the same time. I know I can't lift more than 10 lbs and I'm trying my best, but with a 30 lb 2 year old it is hard not to. Now I am SO SORE on the inside... almost like something has been pulled/bruised. I'm starving, of course I'm starving so I can't figure out sometimes if I'm hungry or aching...

Definitely hard when you have a sweet little face saying "hold you Mommy"....lol. Guess we just have to try our best to only hold them while we're sitting. All my insides feel super sore and I have no kids to blame. I think we are still healing but you should really try not to pick up your kids right now. Best wishes. marciebeth07 1 Posted July 24, 2012 it's good to know that I'm not the only one feeling sore! Today I actually feel a little better. Maybe I just over-did it yesterday. I have to move into a new classroom next week... and my hubby will be doing the lifting for me!
musicgirl713 7 Posted July 24, 2012 I had the hernia repair too as well as gall bladder removal on the 19rh and I'm so miserable! I definitely have the soreness too. I'm on creamy liquids but it doesn't matter because everying is going straight through me because of my gall bladder. My surgeon didn't seem too concerned with my soreness when I saw him today. I hope you feel better! We can be miserable together!
