Rosario_35 2 Posted July 19, 2012 I bought "Super Advanced whey Protein" from Wallmart and after two days of drinking shakes i noticed i bumps on my arms and my back. I stopped drinking it for a couple of days and they were fading away and again tried it one more time and broke out again. I've checked on the Unjury and Protein blitz website and I beleive it's made my WHEY, does anybody know another good brand that is NOT made by WHEY? Thanks, Rosario
Randella 11 Posted July 19, 2012 Whey is an ingredient I would google it and see if you are allergic or maybe it's some other ingredient good luck

DELETE THIS ACCOUNT! 12,703 Posted July 19, 2012 I would try another brand, because it may not be the whey but rather another ingredient entirely. If it happens again, see an allergist to make sure it is the whey. Just fyi, the body can't process more than 20-25g of Protein per meal. So, anything more than that (like Protein shots) is overkill and a waste. Best wishes
NWgirl 574 Posted July 19, 2012 They also make egg Protein Powder, if the other two don't work. I would also recommend testing something else out because it could be just that the product you tried had too many fillers.

honk 780 Posted July 20, 2012 FYI I saw on Drugstore.com a Protein powder made with goats milk. Have not tried it so can't comment on the flavor. I agree you could be allergic to that brand. whey is found in milk. If you can drink milk you are probably not allergic to whey. I am not a doctor just my thoughts. I would go to Vitamin Shoppe or GNC and see if they will let you exchange Protein Powder if you have a problem with it. If so buy Protein powder from one of those places. FYI not all Whey protein is the same. Isolate is a better type of whey protein for you (purer).
