Lenay 0 Posted March 15, 2006 im not trying to sound stupid but i was banded last week and it seems as if i feel something hard right in the middle underneath my boobs when i get out of a chair or move a certain way , is it possible to actually feel your band? Do you know if the band can move out of place?
the best me 6 Posted March 15, 2006 No question is stupid. It's probably your port. Is the hard spot near your largest incision? Some folks have their ports in the center below the breastbone, and it sounds like that might be where your doc placed yours? I can't feel my band, just the effects of it. I CAN feel my port, hard and smooth and round below the skin above and left of my belly button...right at the waist, really. When the swelling goes down more, you might be able to feel it better. Morsaille 4 Posted March 15, 2006 The hard place under your breasts is called a sternum. Just kidding... The band is stitched into place so it can't shift around casually, in slippage events you usually have to apply some kind of force. I am pretty new and I swore that I could feel unnatural pulling from time to time. I just told myself that everything was getting used to the new gear and eventually everything in there would make friends with everything else. Yup, it's all friendly in there now.
