happygirl64 4 Posted July 14, 2012 Was banded on Wednesday July, 11th and I have gained six pounds. I don't sew where anyone else gained weight. I am very swollen but not 6 pounds worth. Please let me know if this is normal.

adorkbl 156 Posted July 14, 2012 My surgery was on 7/9 and I gained 7 pounds of IV Fluid /gas. I am finally back down to pre surgery weight... but just barely. Right now is the time to focus on healing. Don't stress about the scale.
happygirl64 4 Posted July 14, 2012 I am so thankful I found this forum. I feel so much better knowing i can talk to others who have gone through the same things. I will stay off the scale for now.

harmony11 37 Posted July 16, 2012 It is crazy the effect surgeries have on our bodies. Sounds like Fluid and gas. Keep calm and carry on - you've got this!!
