losingjusme 12 Posted June 18, 2007 i havent been weighing every week (vacation, life, etc..) and hopped on this morning and i am down 111 pounds! i was banded in October 2006, so about 8 1/2 months ago. i feel so much better, more energy, more fun with my daughter (and husband ). this is by far the best thing i have done for myself. losingjusme 12 Posted June 18, 2007 hi Lorie, well, my starting weight was 402 1/2 lbs. i lost quite a bit the first 3 months (61 pounds - almost 30 my first month). i worked out nearly every day - sometimes twice a day. out of a month of 30 days, i worked out one month 41 times. now i work out 6 days a week (cardio for 6 days, adding strength training every other day). the past week i have been low-carbing it and it seems to have kicked me into gear. i lost 14 pounds last week. my body goes thorough cycles. i will not lose anything for a week, then gain just a tad then drop about 5 pounds. i drink as much Water as i can physically handle (80+ ounces a day) and i am fairly well restricted (about 2-3 oz of meat is good). best of luck to you!
