bitakay 0 Posted November 25, 2011 I never thought it could happen to me. I'm not the best bandster out there (I have trouble with portion sizes, so I vomit a lot), but I'm 3 years in, and 110lbs down, so I belong here too. Yay!

HolliJ 24 Posted December 10, 2011 Posted not long ago, but thought I'd post again. The reason is that I'm no longer considered being overweight from a BMI standpoint. Currently at 105lbs down (263 to 158). The largest pants I bought were a size 24. I just bought a pair that were a size 6. The largest shirt size I bought was a 3X. I'm now buying size Small. 3 shrinking woman, Anume 937 and okiekatt reacted to this

waynef 25 Posted December 16, 2011 Hi Everyone- It has been on my mind lately to start a new post as a positive, motivational, and inspiring thread. I have noticed several threads lately where those considering surgery are asking if it is 'possible' to lose 100 pounds with the band. My answer to that is...Yes, it definitely is. Many say it is not realistic. But I have watched the amazing progress of LBT members on the board, and believe it is not only realistic, it is happening to many of our LBT members all around us. And for those that aren't quite there yet, many members are extremely close. As time goes by with lapband increasing in popularity and the number of LBT members growing everyday, I believe the list is only going to increase by leaps and bounds. Any and all weight loss is a huge accomplishment for us all. While I realize that many members don't need to lose 100 pounds or more, many do. And for those who do, it offers not only motivation to see that other bandsters have done it...but most importantly it offers the hope that it can be done with the band! This will be a running thread to offer positive motivation, inspiration, hope, and encouragement. Please PM me or post here to have your name added to the growing list when you hit 100 pounds lost, or if you want your amount lost updated. Congratulations to everyone on any and all weight loss! amb3132 0 Posted December 24, 2011 I am 3 years out from surgery. I have gained 20 lbs and my band is full. Help? Can they put more than 14 cc in the apl? Do I need to empty and start over? Thoughts?
atlambros83 1 Posted December 28, 2011 150 lbs lost here, took 11 months to reach my goal of 135, lost a little more and loosened up the band completely over a year ago. Stepped on the scale today, still weighing 152 where ive comfortably sat ever since loosening it up. Couldn't be happier. :-)

Band_Groupie 3 Posted January 16, 2012 Lost 105 pounds, but I'm most proud of the fact that I'm smack dab in the middle of a Normal BMI now (yes, I know BMI isn't the end-all-be-all). I never thought I'd be this successful with the LB (lost 50 pounds so many times before). No more diets, nothing is off limits. I love my Band!!!! 1 PrtyAntOvrYt reacted to this
