puppyphat 397 Posted July 12, 2012 For a while I've been tweaking recipes to be a little healthier for example french toast with wholemeal bread, egg whites and skim milk with cinnamon. A little low fat cooking spray in the pan is the only naughty ingredient. I add some extra seasoning but it's really good. I also make red meatloaf with 93% fat free ground turkey instead of beef and only use the egg whites rather than the whole egg. meyouus 415 Posted July 12, 2012 I make mock Buffalo Wings that are superb alone or on a salad. Very, very simple.... Cut chicken breast into strips, put aside. Preheat a frying pan and spray with "I can't believe it's not butter" spray, Cook the chicken to almost done, then add Franks Redhot Sauce (The official Buffalo Hot Sauce) or whatever you prefer and toss till chicken is cooked. It's not Buffalo Wings, but it sure is delicious! Try putting it on a salad as well. Yummo! 1 Twillwood reacted to this
puppyphat 397 Posted July 12, 2012 I just made the spaghetti with turkey instead of beef, AMAZING!!! my daughter couldn't even tell the difference. I put a couple of tablespoons of red wine in, do you think that would be detrimental once I'm banded?
patyann 14 Posted July 12, 2012 Mashed Califlower instead of potatos, my family can't tell the difference. Also love spaghetti squash instead of Pasta.< /p>
