msnesha 4 Posted July 11, 2012 My port sight is hurting really bad. My chest feels like somebody punched me. Uugggggghhhh!!!! He had to repair a hernia in my stomach & I don't even have a taste for ANY food, not even clear. Is this common? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
joannedt 83 Posted July 11, 2012 Yes, almost everybody experiences the same thing! My advice is never let your pain meds wear out, use a heating pad and most importantly WALK! Give yourself some time to heal and stay hydrated. I'm 2 weeks out and I'm perfectly normal now with zero pain. djbrn02 6 Posted July 11, 2012 I had surgery on Monday and they had to repair a hernia I did not know I had either. I still have quite of bit of pain in my chest and across my shoulders.
