isis3180 46 Posted July 10, 2012 Hello~ I started my journey in December 2011 with an information seminar at the hospital that i chose. After that It was a quick turn around from my initial meet of staff at hospital to my surgery. My first official appointment was in mid January 2012 and my surgery was May 1, 2012. It was sheduled more then a month- month and half out. I had to do the three week pre-surgery diet and I had no issues with that at all and lost about 15 lbs on it. I have steadly lost weight lose since my first fill and am very excited to start my banded life. I am currently filled at 6cc and will most likely have another one or two. I have had no issues at all with eating any foods. I guess I am very lucky that way. I do small bites, slow chewing and wait a bit for my next bite (which is very hard for me as I am a fast eater). I have enjoyed losing the weight and seeing the results in getting to wear smaller sized clothes. New clothes and a reason to shop!!!!!!
