The Laughing Cat 54 Posted July 10, 2012 Hi Everybody, I've seen posts refer to PBing, but I'm not sure I understand what that means. Could someone explain this to me. I'm nearly four weeks post-surgery but haven't had any fills yet, hence no restriction. Still fairly new to this endeavor, my pre-op education never used this term. thanks the Laughing Cat

SashaWLS 412 Posted July 10, 2012 I'm not 100% sure, but I think it means "progressive burping"
takingmeback 6 Posted July 10, 2012 PBing is productive burping. When you get stuck to the point the food needs to come back up. At first it feels like you need to throw up, but you're really just burping up the food that is stuck. It is the most uncomfortable feeling when it's going to happen, but then you feel a million times better when it's over. At least that's how it has been the couple times it happened to me. SashaWLS 412 Posted July 10, 2012 OH -- It's burping up food? Not just burping air 100x in an hour?
