Today is my last day of a liquid diet. Did one week pre op and one week post op. I am so proud of myself! For all those who are in their first stages and feel you can't do it, I was there. I cried, I was hungry and frustrated. Just remember you can do it!!!

Congratulations. I remember exactly how you feel. I couldn't wait for some mashed potatoes. My doctor actually recommended 2 weeks liquid diet, post op. I lost 24 lbs during that time, and was so happy with myself for not cheating. Good job.

      Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.
