JamieNP 20 Posted July 6, 2012 Do you snore? Since your husband has made remarks about it, you probably have it. I got diagnosed so it was one of my comorbidities. I was on cpap. I no longer have it since I have lost the weight.

punkin623 6 Posted July 6, 2012 No sleep apnea! I suppose I should be happy, but I'm disappointed in the fact that it makes the journey more complicated or maybe impossible that insurance will pay. I need to call the Bariatric office on Monday. Any creative suggestions?
curlyq2 17 Posted July 7, 2012 Was your sleep study an initial one or follow up after weight loss? I need to loose 5-7 pounds to have another sleep study to see if it's resolved but never considered that an insurance wouldn't pay if resolved anxious to hear from you or anyone in who had sleep Alena resolved with weight loss
punkin623 6 Posted July 7, 2012 It was an initial sleep study. You do bring up an interesting point. I hope someone can answer you question. It is amazing how complicated it can be to jump through all of the hoops in order to get healthy!

I didn't have any comorbidities so I ended up having to self pay.
