I am waiting to have my EGD done here at True Results Houston. I'm so nervous. Any advice?

I had my EGD done a couple of weeks ago at True Results in Houston. Very simple, I was diagnosed with a Hiatal Hernia and I'm now scheduled to have my band August 23rd. Good luck, there shouldn't be any pain or discomfort.

Were you sedated and completely out during the procedure? I have a fear of being awake and having something down my throat.
