BellaMomma 14 Posted July 1, 2012 I had one when I had a c-section with my daughter, it was actually very nice wouldn't of minded wearing one with the surgery. 1 velvetbuckle reacted to this
gottobeme 81 Posted July 2, 2012 I have read older posts where people reccomended having one for after surgery. My clinic never mentioned anything about one though.
Cazzy 725 Posted July 2, 2012 I was given one for compression after my plastic surgery, maybe u had a hernia repair ? it is either to prevent swelling or Fluid build up or to support the muscles while they heal. I wouldnt worry about it, it certainly wont do u any harm till u go back to the surgeon and u can ask
Lose100 178 Posted July 2, 2012 It is also called an abdominal binder. I wore one after my surgery for abdominal support. I would not have made it through my recovery without it. They can be purchased at Walmart.< /p>
TexasDy 53 Posted July 8, 2012 I wore some Spanx for about 3 days, just for my own comfort, not b/c I was told to.
mbmama 15 Posted July 8, 2012 I wore it when I started exercising more shortly after surgery mainly for my port which was still sore. It made a huge difference and made exercising much more comfortable.
BeeBlueHeron 87 Posted August 29, 2012 I'm wearing one that a friend -- who had LB surgery last year -- gave to me. I checked with my surgeon to make sure it was okay and have been wearing it for a few hours a day since the surgery. It really does help.
