We? Meaning, banded and beyond post op diet restraints? Yes, you can eat whatever you want to eat. But it's a slider food and won't provide the satiety needed to feel full?

Yes, but only after you are allowed to eat soft food. Make sure it is no sugar, or at the least low sugar.

Agreed! A lot of canned/packaged fruit is 'in light syrup' or something to that effect. I would venture to say that if the Syrup is 'light', you might be okay eating just the fruit and tossing the syrup...but it does soak into the fruit itself, so it can be a lot of added sugar.

Our favourite has been a 'tropical fruit' with pineapple, papaya, and mango without syrup...but since moving we can only find the 'light syrup' variety at our local stores.
