Lowering Bmi Requirement

have insurance companies lowered the required bmi requirement? particulary horizon blue cross blue shield.

All insurance companies are different, however the majority require a BMI of 35 with at least 2 comorbidities or a BMI of 40.

But like I said, they're all different. You will have to contact your insurance to find out what their specific requirements are.

I have BCBS fep and the lowest they will approve it is 35 with at least 1 co-morbidity. They all have different requirements though.
