DAA 0 Posted March 11, 2006 Hi friends, Im 11 days post op eating mush food now. My stomach (right hand side where larger incision is) is pretty swolen. I was at the doctor yesterday and he pushed and felt for Fluid. None to be found. He said this is the inscision where all the work is done and it takes the longest to heal. Im still tender there and a bit of muscle pain. My inscision is dry and looks great. Did anyone have swelling there? How long before it goes down? Should I use Ice, heat? Its so weird to look at since my left side looks normal but the right looks much larger. PhotoNut 7 Posted March 11, 2006 I was swollen all over my stomach for a couple of weeks or more. The first time I looked in the mirror I was shocked at how much fatter I looked than before I was banded! Pregnant just about covers it! LOL Is you port on that side?
