Going To See My Doc Today

Hello,

I am pretty new to the whole lap band topic. I am going to my doctor tonight to ask about getting banded. I am really nervous and scared that he will say no. Any advice on how to talk to him or bring the topic up. I am going in because I have been having Migraines. I got these back when I was in highschool and it was from being overwieight. I am done with the yo yo diet and feeling depressed over my weight. I am ready for a new start and a new me ! Tips and advice would be appreciated.

It is your body, your life. Tell him you want it and would like his refferal, but if he wont give it, you will find another Dr. I would not let someone stand in my way. I would just show him that you have educated yourself on hte matter and it is your choice.
