How Long Until You Fellt 100% ?

Recommended Posts

I am so glad hope is out there. I've felt like a zombie since surgery on Friday but this morning I'm finally feeling like I'll be human again someday so I'm halfway there ;)

It took me about 15 days to feel normal again. Be prepared for it to take longer than expected. Everyone kept telling me 7 days and at 7 days I still felt horrible! Hopefully I'm just abnormal and you will be back to yourself faster :)

I am only 4 days post op and I feel really queezy and nauseas... Is this normal? I'm freaking out a little as to why I feel like this. I don't want to eat or drink.... Hopefully this feeling will go away

I have read many post surgery post that say they were very nauseous so I think its pretty normal hopefully your Dr gave you Mersey for it. Seems like it gets better each day and ends around 2weeks hang in there I hope you feel better soon

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
