Hard Lump

I y'all I'm almost 3 weeks out and last night I felt a hard lump 2 to 3 inches big it's under my larger incision and it don't realy hurt are anything. I'm do really good on my eating and stay full too. Has anyone have this after surgery? Just wondering

JSI is right, that's your port. Sometimes I can feel mine really well, other times not so much. I would avoid messing with it much the first few weeks since you're still healing. They're typically sewn into your abdominal muscle wall. I'm 5 weeks out and just started abdominal exercises, mine is a little sore after but not bad.

Two to three inches is awfully big for a port. Mine would be no more than half an inch across.

It may be and most likely is your port, but just check next time you see your dr.

It could also be scar tissue. I have a large area about the same size. I had assumed it was my port since it was right above my large incision. It turns out that my port was actually below my incision! What I was feeling was simply scar tissue.

If it is scar tissue then you can massage it regularly to help break it up.
