Pollyanna12 74 Posted June 25, 2012 Mrs. 2012 - I had surgery March 20 and 2 fills. I still have no restriction! It drives me nuts. I eat my 4oz. Protein and 1/2 c veggies on a sandwich plate. dinner sized plates make my meal too depressing. I consider what I am doingnow as 'active dieting'. I haven't lost much the last 5 weeks ir so. I know my daily calories have creeper up to about 1,700 a day. Hang in there! It is early in our journney. I am nit givingup onmyband!
tylee72198 10 Posted June 25, 2012 I'm working on 2 years with my band. I too would get frustrated with my weight loss. I wasn't losing fast enough. I should have been at goal weight in less than a year, and then it dawned on me. I'm right where I need to be. I have gone through 2 major surgeries in those 2 years that would have caused me to gain weight before. I still managed to lose weight. I still have weight to lose, but I know now that I'm going to eventually be at my goal weight. This is weight that will not come back. I didn't reach the green zone until around fill 5 or 6, and I even now, there are times that I have to have Fluid taken out because I get too tight. Then have to have Fluid added because I get to loose. I'm sitting in the green zone right now. Who knows how long that will last, but I'm certainly enjoying it while I sit here. sandra07 17 Posted June 25, 2012 This is probably a dumb question but what is the green zone? Sent from my iPad using LapBandTalk
2muchfun 8,927 Posted June 25, 2012 Once your band gives you adequate restriction so that you are satiated at meals and you are losing weight, you are in the green zone. tmf
