xobklynqt143 5 Posted June 23, 2012 Hi my name is Cynthia, im from Brooklyn, NY I have 1 consult schedualed and a seminar i must attened before i can go to a consult with another doctor(im not sure if im allowed to post which doctors) . Im very excited about this, it seems like the past 4-5 years i just keep ganining and gaining weight no matter how much i diet or go to the gym .....im undecided if i want the lapband (which is covered by insurance) or the sleve (im not sure if thats covered). Welcome and use this time to gather as much information as u can about both proceedures, dont forget to research the band with sleeve plication which is a newer proceedure, Making an informed decision is what will help u be successful in the future Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

At first I was not thrilled to be staying overnight, but it was totally worth it. I was banded on a Tuesday and back to work the next Monday. Luckily overall my recovery wasn't bad.
