I would say it depends on what your taking in. I probably went close to a week without going since I was on all Clear liquids. It wasn't until I started the Protein shake I started having normal ones. Even now my movements are nothing like they were before. I used to go every single morning and now it seems every other day.

Way I see it as long as you can go when you have to go then everything is fine. If you have to go and cannot then that's a problem.

At this time you should be GTG. I will say it does become a problem when you get on regular foods! I my self had a couple very embarrasing times that is rather gross!

It's usually liquids in liquids out. If you are not going at all I would add benefiber to your drinks to help things along.

If you are not in pain from Constipation, you should be okay. If you get constipated, take a stool softener or milk of magnesia to move things along.

I agree with the people above, but when everything is "back to normal" you should try a product called Green Vibrance. I mix it in every morning with my Protein Shake and it has changed my life. I have been "going" regularly since i started drinking this product. I also have some much energy, and I have even seen a change in my skin, I feel like I have a glow! I think it's because it is freeze dried vegetables and Probiotics, all of the things i was missing before (being 1.5 years post-op).

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
